Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) Programme is promoted by the Government of Malaysia, in order to welcome foreign citizens from all over the world to live in Malaysia. Successful applicants are allowed to bring their spouse, unmarried children (Maximum age of dependents 35 & single), parents and in-laws (must be aged 60+), and apply for a maid (Platinum Only) as dependents.

Note:
- The application for New MM2H must go through an authorized and licensed MM2H agent.
- Main applicant and spouse, aged 25-49 or 50 and above, are required to spend a minimum of 90 days in Malaysia per year.
- Successful applicants need to open their fixed deposits in USD.
- No tax on foreign fund/income and profit on fixed deposits in Malaysia.
- Participants need to obtain approval from the Ministry of Tourism before proceeding to withdraw the fixed deposit.
- Participants under this program may withdraw their entire fixed deposit anytime should they decide to terminate their stay in Malaysia under this program. However, they must obtain prior approval from the Ministry of Tourism.
This amount may not be withdrawn until the participants decide to terminate their participation in MM2H program. New applicants have to observe the following conditions:
- The purchased residential property may be a fully completed unit or one under construction. For any property purchased in Malaysia, applicants aged below 50 and those aged 50 and above must produce copies of payments made to developers, amounting to a minimum of RM600,000 (for Silver Applicants), minimum of RM1,000,000 (for Gold Applicants), and minimum of RM2,000,000 (for Platinum Applicants). This amount does not include legal fees, transfer fees, commissions and any other related payments.
- MM2H participants will need to purchase a property under this program and the property cannot be sold during the first 10 years.
